Worship Leadership
All teams need leadership! Within the context of worship teams, musical and spiritual leadership are of equal importance to successfully lead a team of musicians into worship - encouraging the congregation to also engage in authentic worship.
In an effort to maintain quality musical and spiritual leadership of all worship teams there are two leadership models within The Well Worship ministry.
Band Leader/Worship Leader Model
One individual is responsible for shepherding a team of 6-8 musicians both musically and spiritually
Band Leader + Worship Leader Model
Two individuals share the responsibility of shepherding a team of 6-8 musicians
- The Band Leader primarily focuses on musical leadership and shepherding the team in their craft as musicians. The Band Leader partners with the Worship Leader to also shepherd the team spiritually.
- The Worship Leader primarily focuses on spiritual leadership and shepherding the team through spiritual formation and development. The Worship leader partners with the Band Leader to also shepherd the team in their craft.
